I love healthy fresh food, but I'll admit, often I can't think of what healthy thing to eat, so end up just grabbing some cereal or a bag of chips or a candy bar, even though it doesn't satiate me the same way.

This is one of the most easiest and also most beneficial snack to have at any time of the day. Just get a variety of dried fruit and nuts, and see what each family member prefers, and make a trail mix so that everyone gets their favorite fruits and nuts. Veggie Wraps




Veggie wraps, if done correctly, can be extremely delicious snacks. They’re particularly useful for the kids to take to school for a break or lunch snack. They can be made quick and simple and still pack a ton of flavor too. You can use lettuce, kale, spinach or any kind of green vegetable along with either a cheese or a cold cut, a bit of dressing or pickles, and you’ll be good to go!

Hummus & Veggies

Hummus is incredibly healthy and can be filled as well, so it really does work out as a great snack for any member of the family because it tastes really good with pretty much anything. It’s low in carbs and high in protein and fiber. You can make fun looking hummus cups by placing some hummus at
the bottom of the cup and sticking in a couple of strips of all kinds of vegetables. You can also use hummus as a base for many kinds of wraps, it goes well with meat and chicken, and even fish.

Mini-Sandwich Kababs

These are a ton of fun, especially for the kids. All you need to do is make tiny sized shapes of your bread, meat or vegetable and place them all on a stick just like you would do for a kabab! It’s just a fun way to snack, especially for the kids who are picky with their eating habits. Healthy Dips

There are so many different kinds of dips that you can use for snack time, whether you’re using tortilla chips or veggies, the possibilities are endless. You can make a fresh salsa dip out of kidney beans, potatoes and chopped vegetables. Hummus can also be used as a dip, or you could use avocado in a variety of ways to create delicious dips as well.

Kale Chips

Kale chips are all the craze now, it might not seem like such an appetizing idea, but when you actually make these and try them, you won’t be able to have enough! Your kids are bound to love them too, and they’re extremely easy to make using a Hydrator, oven or air fryer.

Snacking no longer needs to be associated with greasy, unhealthy guilty food. There are so many delicious and exciting healthy and fresh recipes available now that you can get the whole family in on living a healthier lifestyle. What makes it even more appealing is that most of these ideas actually take hardly any time at all, and don’t involve complex cooking processes. You can do it right away or even have them stored. So it seems that it is about that time that you got rid of all your processed food and took a trip to the fresh fruit and vegetable isles and really gave this a go!
