Easy Baked Onion Quinoa Recipe
Ingredients:2 cups quinoa
3 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 heaping teaspoon onion powder (or more to taste)
Instructions:
1. Rinse your quinoa very well in a mesh strainer.
2. Add the quinoa and the rest of the ingredients into a baking pan and mix well.
3. Bake covered for approximately 30 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.
4. Remove from the oven and fluff with a fork before serving.

I never would have thought of baking it but will try that now. I do enjoy quinoa and even find it makes a great "porridge" if you add milk or even cream,and some sweetener after cooking it although I do add a dash of salt as well. The children like that as a morning cereal. I usually have it with herbs, peppers and onions. Sometimes tossing in some cheese is really yummy too. Thanks for sharing this because, again, who would've thunk it! :D
