That being said, I am in the minority in my family who think that peanut butter and chocolate combined are a gift from God. Thanks for posting this. I think I may have found my husband's Valentine's Day gift.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-7156484953132694932013-02-11T18:13:01.853+00:002013-02-11T18:13:01.853+00:00I make something similar but the filling is made f...I make something similar but the filling is made from peanut butter, melted butter and powdered sugar. Not pretending any kind of healthy, but they taste just like Reese's. :)Clarenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-34415000842076326332013-02-11T16:59:49.640+00:002013-02-11T16:59:49.640+00:00I don't do peanut butter because it could kill...I don't do peanut butter because it could kill me, but one point: make sure the water does not come in contact with your chocolate! It will make it hard and impossible and clumpy...and unsalvageable.Marion Rosennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-28970964117669980972013-02-11T16:58:30.348+00:002013-02-11T16:58:30.348+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Marionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02032450083956998118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-82076352322934235562013-02-11T15:04:15.230+00:002013-02-11T15:04:15.230+00:00I have never made these, but I have fantasized abo...I have never made these, but I have fantasized about making them. My guess was that for the peanut butter, I would just mix it with a little sugar, then look for a tiny melon scoop and mold the peanut butter into a small shape. Then dip it in the chocolate. I might still try that sometime, but now I have a back-up plan (if I can figure out something good to use for a mold).Debbie Mnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-77520275922444524532013-02-11T12:08:13.237+00:002013-02-11T12:08:13.237+00:00I'm always suspicious of people who say they d...I'm always suspicious of people who say they don't like the peanut butter/chocolate combo. We had a party yesterday and I made what we call peanut buttercups; they're a little less complicated than these; peanut butter mixed with a little butter and sugar pressed into the base of a shaped ice cube tray, with a thin layer of melted dark-milk chocolate mixed. I owe Nigella Lawson for the recipe; http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1094171/Angel Jemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08915392156232711695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1300660817354328186.post-41517140024755546562013-02-11T04:51:00.863+00:002013-02-11T04:51:00.863+00:00Yum, these look great :) Yum, these look great :) Economies of Kalehttp://www.economiesofkale.netnoreply@blogger.com
