Located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this town offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

There are many family-friendly things to do in Pigeon Forge, including thrill rides, national parks, entertainment shows, dining, shopping, horseback riding, and more.

1. TITANIC Museum

Pigeon Forge strives to provide visitors with the opportunity to experience what it was like to be inside the world-famous Titanic. The Titanic Museum was established to tribute to the ship, its crew, and all passengers aboard. It has been designed to replicate the original Titanic ship, both internally and externally, providing an authentic experience.

The museum offers visitors the chance to walk through the ship's staterooms, parlors, and hallways and view over 400 artifacts from the wreckage. Enjoy a trip back to the early 20th century by exploring the two-story museum. Discover an extensive display of artifacts distributed across 20 galleries, some of which were personal belongings of passengers.

A boarding ticket will be provided to you that includes the name of the passenger or crew member onboard that fateful day. There will be a self-guided tour, ending with the names of all passengers and crew.

The Titanic Museum is one of only two museums in the United States dedicated to the ship.

2. Dollywood

Dollywood is a famous theme park owned and operated by Herschend Family Entertainment that receives over three million visitors each year. Among the most popular Pigeon Forge attractions, this park offers a wide range of activities.

In addition to the roller coaster and a luxury resort, there is a water park with water slides, splash pads, pools, and a steam train. Visitors of all ages will enjoy its many fun-filled activities. 3. The Island in Pigeon Forge

Firstly, it is essential to clarify that Pigeon Forge's Island is not surrounded by water. Due to its design is referred to as The Island since it appears isolated from other parts of the city. Among the attractions you will find here are theme parks, entertainment venues, dining establishments, hotels, and shopping centers. Every age group can find something to do here.

A highlight of the venue is its 200-foot Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding town. Tourists commonly perceive that The Island in Pigeon Forge resembles a miniature version of Las Vegas in the Smokies due to its layout.

The hotels are conveniently located if you'd like to spend your vacation here and not visit other city areas. Aside from thrilling rides, you can shop, eat, and walk here.

4. Hollywood Wax Museum

This two-level, 22,000-square-foot museum has been operating since 2012. Visitors can take selfies with their favorite Hollywood celebrities here. One of Pigeon Forge's most fascinating attractions, WonderWorks has been dubbed an amusement park of the mind. You will be blown away by it! You will be captivated by the building's exterior design before you even walk inside due to its seemingly gravity-defying structure.
