I'm very short on time today, so I'll leave you with a really yummy recipe for cauliflower- suitable for every diet I can think of. Its my favorite way to make cauliflower, and my kids gobble it up. I got the basic idea and the name from a bunch of friends that make this similar, but the exact quantity and ingredients are my own.

Cauliflower Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large head cauliflower
2 tablespoons oil (I use coconut but any will do)
1 tablespoon honey, coconut sugar or regular sugar (or leave out)
1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder (optional)
2-3 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
1. Chop the cauliflower into little flourettes

2. Mix the rest of the ingredients with the cauliflower.

3. Roast in the oven until starting to brown.

Enjoy hot or cold!

What is your favorite way to eat cauliflower? Does this look like a recipe you'd try?

  1. I love, absoloutely, fresh cauliflower just picked. Some youth at a school picked one for me and there were little shoots coming out of it that I had never seen before. The whole cauliflower was wonderful.

Roasted vegetable are so good for us and so is turmeric which spice I even give my husband in pill form.

This definitely is a recipe I will use again and again.

  4. I roast it at a higher temp - 400 or even 425. Just stir it once or twice to make sure it gets browned evenly.
